Christine Dumbsky Painter, Bodypainter, Illustrator, Comic painter, Programmer and Komposer in one person. At first traditional painting was the main focus of the artist Christine Dumbsky. Where her paintings often were categorisized as "erotic art", although the real intention of her picture worlds are revealing just by a more close view the "women- theme". She presented her works since 1997 at the internet, where at this time she was one of the very first artists, who used this platform as a multimedia promotion tool.
Quite fast Christine Dumbsky became well known beyond country borders and worked internationally. As well did exhibition shows worldwide, such as at the Woodstock Revival Festival, in China, Luxembourg, Italy, USA etc. Also the print media and TV reportet about her work, e.g. German press agency, associated press, Penthouse, Neue Revue, Vivian, Bavarian TV, Sat1, Pro Sieben, RTL, MDR etc. Working with the "living canvas" she discovered some years later, where this was nearly an inevitable development- The idea to integrate the viewer, the artist and the model completely to the developing process was one of her visions and goals. Where with the bodypainting it was possible to realize this consistently.   The artist operates internationally in this area as well and became one of the Top 10 of the bodypainting artists. Her special way of doing bodypainting is unique worldwide, she transforms the model into a real artwork and cast the viewer totally to the spell of it. In the field of comics and illustration the artist found an additional artistical expression tool. From record covers to book illustration up to merchandising sketches for company-specific purposes there is the unmistaken and distinctive handwriting of the artist recognizable. In the recent time the multi-talent Christine Dumbsky completely breaks through the barriers of the work with brush and/or Airbrush - by composing also own music for her presentations. Also in this profession fast the first acknowledgment came, where she won a composition competition with more than 5000 participants and her victorious song was published on CD.
